A Motorcar Trip on the
Quebec, North Shore, & Labrador Railway

SEPTEMBER, 2001

On 5-9 September 2001 the Quebec, North Shore & Labrador Railway (also know as the QNS&L or QNSL) was host to some 25 railroad motocars (also known as speeders or track cars). We traveled from Sept-Iles, Quebec on the north shore of the Saint Lawrence Seaway to Labrador City, Newfoundland (Canada), 261 rail miles each way away. This web site is the story of the trip.

This was the first time QNS&L hosted such a group. The excursion was coordinated by Wilderness Tours.

The web site is divided into two sections, narration and photos. Use the "BACK" and "NEXT" buttons to go from one page to the next. The "UP" button returns you here. In the narration, there are links to various photos. Use your browser's "back" button to return you to the narration. This is a simple web site with no frames and low resolution photos.
